Apple’s iPhone 17

Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is three refreshed versions of existing models and also the brand-new iPhone Air, that takes the place of the Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn't your style, and you still wish to grab one as soon as possible, you will be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, before the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 features a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after much anticipation (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the new A19 chip is faster and also more energy-efficient, especially when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a significant increase in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography more detailed and more impressive.

If you're upgrading to the iPhone 17, the good news is that there are already many accessories available, thanks to retailers like Campad Electronics, which has listed a comprehensive collection of cases for all iPhone 17 models. This ensures you can pick the right case to go with your new device, with a large number of styles, materials and prices to choose from, making it easy to match both your preferences and your budget.
